January Update

It's been a busy January! We are still awaiting bank approval for the new land, so we partnered up with Residencia de Vida (Residence of Life) children's home run by Cherie McCullah for our January teams. Cherie and her kids just moved to San Isidro a couple months before we did and we are happy to help our new neighbors.

First Week of 2015 Complete!

We started off the new year quick with a team from Wesley UMC in Macomb, IL with a few individuals from GA & MN arriving on Jan 2nd. We spent the week fixing up the new campgrounds where teams will be lodging this year until the new dormitories can be built. We moved around mattresses, gave it a fresh coat of paint, organized linens and our storage areas, and of course headed to La Carpio and Los Guido to assist the feeding programs!

We still have slots available for teams all year, but especially May & September when flights are usually the cheapest. Let us know when you're ready to start planning your trip and we will see you soon!
